Non-ferrous Casting
We can take the design of a casting right through from the initial idea to the finished casting. Both once off castings or production runs are supported. We use both sand casting and small-scale lost resin/wax investment techniques to suit our clients purposes and achieve a high quality result.
Alloys that we specialise in include bronze, brass and aluminium. If you have a particular alloy in mind, we usually can accommodate it.

Pictured are some rough trial castings made from the above AC601 sand casting aluminium ingot. Below it are prototype castings of a replica of a wrought iron door hinge and a sand rammer used in the moulding process.

Computer-aided Design and Modelling
Whether it's an idea in the back of your mind or shop drawings complete with dimensioning, we can digitise it through our state of art CAD software, ready for your use.
We can create:
- Unsupported models for 3D printing
- Dimensioned shop drawings for manufacturer

Pictured is a model stationary steam engine bed modelled from shop drawings. The design is intended to be 3D printed for uses as a metal casting pattern.
We also support high-definition product rendering for marketing if needed.

We can 3D print your design, whether it's a BYO file, or a design that we are working on for you.

Pictured is a plaque designed using our CAD software and 3D printed in PLA plastic. It has all the necessary draft and fillets ready for the sand casting process. Just needs a little sanding and paint!
